TYsport provides new and up to the minute thinking on upgrades and improvements for the TY175 and TY250 Mono. We have been involved with trials since 1971 but most things outlined here have been developed by ourselves relatively recently and aren’t simply updates of modifications first carried out in the 70-80s!
Things such as updated porting and intake systems are so effective that even hopelessly uncompetitive machines can be made to run surprisingly well. Its worth bearing in mind though that worn out carbs and clogged exhausts will badly affect performance and must be rectified before thinking about any sort of modifications being carried out.
